Pharmacy Technician

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized Pharmacy Technician to join the BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and a thorough knowledge of pharmacy operations. 1. Greet and assist customers in the pharmacy.
2. Receive and process prescription orders.
3. Prepare and dispense medications.
4. Maintain accurate patient records.
5. Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
6. Prepare and submit insurance claims.
7. Answer customer inquiries regarding medications.
8. Perform accurate calculations when measuring and mixing medications.
9. Monitor drug inventory and order replenishments.
10. Keep the pharmacy clean and organized.
