Job Description

BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina is searching for an experienced and dynamic Medicare Sales Representative to join our team. Our ideal candidate should have an unwavering commitment to providing superior customer service, and be able to develop strong relationships with our clients. The successful individual will be a critical part of our organization and will be responsible for building relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and helping them select the most appropriate plans.Required qualifications for this position include a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, 3-5 years of sales experience, and a thorough understanding of the Medicare system. Additionally, the ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills. Computer proficiency and experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software is also desirable. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in order to understand their needs and provide them with the most appropriate plans.
  2. Demonstrate excellent communication and problem solving skills.
  3. Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software to track and report on sales performance.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure clients receive the highest level of customer service.
  5. Conduct research to understand the Medicare system and provide accurate and up-to-date information to clients.
  6. Stay abreast of changes in the Medicare system and ensure compliance with regulations.
  7. Create sales strategies and tactics to increase revenue.
  8. Track client feedback and make necessary changes to ensure customer satisfaction.
  9. Generate reports on sales performance and present findings to management.
