Medical Coding Specialist

We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.To be successful in this role, you must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification, and two years of experience in medical coding. Responsibilities:

1. Accurately code medical records in accordance with appropriate coding guidelines.
2. Ensure compliance with coding standards and regulations.

5. Monitor coding accuracy and develop corrective action plans as needed.
6. Resolve coding discrepancies with providers and other relevant stakeholders.
7. Provide guidance and support to new and existing coders.
8. Assist with annual audits and coding reviews.
9. Develop and maintain successful relationships with healthcare providers.
10. Participate in coding training and continuing education programs.
