Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina. This role is essential to our success, as the Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing our clients with excellent customer service. To be successful in this role, you should have exceptional communication skills, a friendly and professional attitude, and the ability to handle customer inquiries. Responsibilities:

  1. Handle customer inquiries promptly and efficiently, providing exceptional customer service.
  2. Utilize customer service software to document customer interactions and analyze customer complaints.
  3. Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner via phone, email, and other communication channels.
  4. Monitor customer inquiries and requests and identify opportunities for improvement.
  5. Facilitate communication between customers and other BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina departments.
  6. Assist in developing new customer service processes and procedures.
  7. Maintain customer information databases and update as needed.
  8. Remain up to date on company products, services, and policies.
  9. Provide feedback to management on customer service performance.
  10. Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
