
Customer Service Representative

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our members, providing prompt and accurate assistance with inquiries and resolution of complaints. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a customer-oriented approach, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Required qualifications include:• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience• At least two years of customer service experience• Strong computer literacy and knowledge of customer service software• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with care and discretion
Responsibilities: • Provide exceptional customer service to BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina members. • Respond to inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely and accurate manner. • Utilize customer service software to track and document customer interactions. • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and confidential information. • Identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions. • Remain up-to-date on product and service offerings. • Follow all applicable policies and procedures. • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. • Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
