At BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, our Claims Processor role is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about customer service. This position requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in order to accurately process insurance claims and provide superior customer service to our members. We are looking for an individual who embodies our organizational values of excellence, integrity, and teamwork.We are seeking a Claims Processor who has a strong background in the insurance industry and is knowledgeable about insurance claims processing and customer service. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize work, and the ability to follow through on tasks. The ideal candidate for this position will be a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  1. Accurately process insurance claims in a timely manner while providing superior customer service.

  3. Demonstrate excellence, integrity, and teamwork in all aspects of the job.
  4. Prioritize tasks and multitask efficiently.
  5. Follow through on tasks and assignments.
  6. Maintain knowledge of insurance claims processing and customer service.
  7. Respond to customer inquiries in a professional, courteous manner.
  8. Perform any other duties as required.
