- Conduct in-depth user research studies to understand user behavior and preferences
- Lead and manage complex research projects from start to finish, including planning, recruiting participants, conducting interviews and surveys, and analyzing data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, product managers, and engineers, to identify research needs and provide insights for product development
- Utilize a variety of research methods, such as usability testing, interviews, surveys, and analytics, to gather data and insights
- Develop and maintain research plans and schedules to ensure timely delivery of research findings
- Synthesize and communicate research findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner
- Continuously stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UX research and incorporate them into our research processes
- Act as an advocate for user-centered design within the organization and educate others on the value of UX research
- Mentor and train junior researchers and team members on research methodologies and techniques
- Contribute to the development of a robust research strategy and roadmap for the company
- Collaborate with external research partners and vendors as needed to support research initiatives.
Extensive Experience In User Research: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience Conducting User Research, Including Qualitative And Quantitative Methods. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of User-Centered Design Principles And Be Able To Apply Them In A Variety Of Research Settings.
Strong Data Analysis Skills: A Senior Ux Researcher At Blue Yonder Should Be Skilled In Analyzing And Synthesizing Data From Various Sources, Including Surveys, Interviews, And Usability Testing. They Should Be Able To Draw Insights And Make Strategic Recommendations Based On Their Findings.
Familiarity With Ux Design Tools: The Candidate Should Be Proficient In Using Popular Ux Design Tools Such As Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, And Invision. They Should Also Have Experience With Prototyping Tools And Be Comfortable Creating Wireframes And Mockups.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Senior Ux Researcher, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Designers, Product Managers, And Engineers. They Should Be Able To Clearly Communicate Their Research Findings And Collaborate Effectively To Drive Product Improvements.
Knowledge Of Industry Best Practices: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Current Ux Research Trends And Best Practices. They Should Be Familiar With Industry Standards For Usability, Accessibility, And User Testing And Be Able To Apply Them To Their Research Processes.
