- Develop and implement secure software development lifecycle processes, including code scanning and vulnerability management.
- Monitor and analyze system and application logs to identify potential security threats.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and address any vulnerabilities or risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all stages of the development process.
- Research and recommend security tools and technologies to enhance the company's overall security posture.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, standards, and best practices.
- Identify and remediate security incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Educate and train team members on security best practices and procedures.
- Work closely with the IT and engineering teams to implement security controls and ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
- Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify and address potential security risks.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for any security-related inquiries or incidents.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to evaluate the security of their products and services.
- Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents.
- Participate in on-call rotations and be available to respond to any security emergencies.
Extensive Experience In Security Engineering: A Senior Security Engineer At Blue Yonder, Inc. Should Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Security Engineering, With A Focus On Devsecops Practices. This Should Include Experience In Designing, Implementing, And Maintaining Security Solutions For Web-Based Applications.
Proficiency In Devsecops Tools And Practices: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Devsecops Principles And Have Experience With Tools Such As Docker, Kubernetes, And Jenkins. They Should Also Have Experience With Automation And Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (Ci/Cd) Pipelines.
Knowledge Of Cloud Security: As A Senior Security Engineer At Blue Yonder, Inc., The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Cloud Security, Particularly In A Public Cloud Environment Like Aws Or Azure. They Should Be Familiar With Security Best Practices For Cloud-Based Applications And Have Experience Implementing Security Controls In These Environments.
Strong Understanding Of Application Security: The Candidate Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Application Security Principles And Protocols Such As Owasp Top 10, Saml, And Oauth. They Should Also Have Experience With Secure Coding Practices And Performing Security Code Reviews.
Excellent Problem-Solving And Communication Skills: A Senior Security Engineer At Blue Yonder, Inc. Should Have Strong Problem-Solving Skills And Be Able To Think Critically To Identify And Address Security Vulnerabilities. They Should Also Have Excellent Communication Skills To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Effectively Communicate Security Risks And Solutions To Stakeholders.
