- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for API-based products and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Design and implement automated tests for API testing and ensure continuous integration and delivery of high-quality software.
- Conduct thorough and rigorous testing of APIs to ensure functionality, performance, and security.
- Identify and report defects, track and verify their resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to developers on potential quality issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in API testing and automation.
- Mentor and train junior QA engineers on API testing and automation processes.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and any issues or risks.
- Continuously improve and optimize the QA process for API-based products and services.
- Collaborate with the product team to understand requirements and provide input on testability and potential quality risks.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Extensive Experience In Api Testing And Automation: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Api Testing And Automation, With A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role. They Should Be Well-Versed In Testing Methodologies And Have A Deep Understanding Of Api Technologies Such As Rest, Soap, And Graphql.
Strong Programming Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Programming Skills In Languages Such As Java, Python, Or Javascript. They Should Be Comfortable Writing Automation Scripts And Using Testing Tools And Frameworks Such As Selenium, Postman, And Jmeter.
Knowledge Of Software Development Lifecycle: A Senior Qa Engineer At Blue Yonder Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Software Development Lifecycle And Be Able To Work Closely With Developers To Ensure Timely And High-Quality Delivery Of Software Products. They Should Also Have Experience With Agile Methodologies And Be Able To Work In A Fast-Paced, Collaborative Environment.
