Job Description

Blue Yonder, Inc. is looking for an innovative and experienced Operations Research Scientist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing mathematical models and algorithms to solve complex business problems. You should have a passion for mathematical problem solving and a drive to help us reach our ambitious goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations research, mathematics, and/or computer science. You should have experience with optimization techniques, such as linear programming, integer programming, and dynamic programming, as well as experience with developing and applying simulation models. Additionally, you should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team is essential. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement mathematical models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
  2. Utilize optimization techniques such as linear programming, integer programming, and dynamic programming.
  3. Develop and apply simulation models.
  4. Analyze and troubleshoot problems.
  5. Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of solutions.
  7. Prepare reports and presentations as needed.
  8. Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in operations research.
