
Talent Advisor
At Blue Shield of California, we are looking for a Talent Advisor to join our team and help us create a positive and rewarding working environment for our employees. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, who is passionate about helping others reach their full potential.To be successful in this role, you must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field and have at least three years of experience in a talent management or human resources role. You should also have a strong understanding of best practices in talent acquisition, performance management, and employee development.If you are a motivated, creative problem-solver with a passion for helping others reach their potential, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to attract, retain, and engage employees, such as through performance evaluation systems, employee development programs, and onboarding initiatives.
- Conduct interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications and assess their fit with the organization.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and help them to identify suitable candidates.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on talent-related topics, such as performance management, career development, and succession planning.
- Monitor trends in the recruitment industry and recommend best practices for improving the organization’s recruitment processes.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from job postings to onboarding new hires.
- Create job descriptions and postings, and manage job boards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external recruiters and other potential sources of talent.
- Stay up-to-date on applicable laws and regulations regarding recruitment and selection.
- Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to ensure the organization is meeting its objectives.
