Provider Relations Representative, Senior

We're looking for an experienced, passionate Senior Provider Relations Representative to join Blue Shield of California. In this important role, you'll be responsible for managing relationships with healthcare providers and ensuring that quality services are offered to our members.To be successful in this position, you'll need to have an in-depth understanding of healthcare provider relations and the healthcare industry, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build relationships with healthcare providers. 1. Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare providers.
2. Monitor and evaluate the quality of services provided to members.
3. Act as a liaison between healthcare providers and Blue Shield of California.
4. Develop and implement provider relations strategies and programs.
5. Negotiate contracts with healthcare providers.
6. Monitor provider performance and take corrective action when necessary.
7. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
8. Communicate effectively with providers, staff, and members.
9. Provide customer service to healthcare providers and members.
10. Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure success.
