Pharmacy Technician

We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Blue Shield of California. Responsibilities:

1. Ensure accurate record-keeping and data entry of prescriptions and medical records.
2. Assist in preparing and dispensing medications to customers in accordance with all state and federal laws.
3. Provide excellent customer service to patients and providers.
4. Process and track orders to ensure timely delivery of medications.
5. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
6. Ensure compliance with all safety standards established by the pharmacy.
7. Monitor inventory levels and place reorders as necessary.
8. Provide education and support to customers on the use of medications.
9. Assist with other tasks as needed.
10. Demonstrate proficiency with pharmacy software systems.
11. Possess a valid pharmacy technician registration.
