Pharmacist, Principal

We are looking for an experienced, collaborative, and customer-focused Pharmacist Principal to join our team at Blue Shield of California. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing effective pharmacy strategies and programs that promote quality patient care and cost-effective pharmaceutical services.The ideal candidate for this position will have a PharmD degree from an accredited college or university, at least five years of pharmacy experience, and a strong knowledge of pharmacy operations. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and manage effective pharmacy strategies and programs that promote quality patient care and cost-effective pharmaceutical services.
2. Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations related to pharmacy operations.
3. Monitor and evaluate pharmacy operations to ensure optimal performance.
4. Provide education and training to staff on pharmacy services and protocols.
5. Communicate with stakeholders and customers to ensure satisfaction and quality service.
6. Collaborate with other departments in the organization to develop and improve pharmacy programs.
7. Participate in the development and implementation of new pharmacy services and protocols.
8. Review and approve medication orders and ensure accuracy of records and billing.
9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceuticals and pharmacy services.
10. Address customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
