Pharmacist, Principal

Blue Shield of California is seeking a highly-motivated Principal Pharmacist to lead our pharmacy operations and services. The successful candidate will join our dynamic team and be responsible for providing oversight and management of the pharmacy benefit management program and services.The ideal Principal Pharmacist will have an in-depth knowledge of pharmacy operations, regulatory requirements, and industry changes and trends, and will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. This position requires an individual who can think strategically and proactively, and lead our team of professionals in delivering high-quality pharmacy services to our members.To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, a minimum of five years' experience in a managed care or pharmacy benefit management environment, and must be licensed as a pharmacist in the state of California. 9. Monitor compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
10. Ensure that all operations and services are in line with organizational policies and procedures.
