Medical Coder

Responsibilities:

2. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding standards and regulations.

4. Ensure all codes are entered into the system accurately and timely.
5. Maintain accurate and complete records of coding activities.
6. Review medical records for completeness and accuracy of coding.
7. Identify coding discrepancies and suggest resolution.
8. Assist with developing coding guidelines and policies.
9. Respond to coding related inquiries from other departments and providers.
10. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
