Healthcare Compliance Specialist

We are looking for a Healthcare Compliance Specialist to join the Blue Shield of California team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our healthcare plans and procedures are consistent with applicable regulations. You will collaborate with team members to develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs and policies.To be successful in this role, you should have an in-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, laws, and standards. Responsibilities:

1. Monitor healthcare plans and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
2. Develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs and policies.
3. Analyze healthcare regulations, laws, and standards and update compliance programs and policies accordingly.
4. Assist with the investigation and resolution of complaints related to healthcare compliance.
5. Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on healthcare compliance regulations.
6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
7. Stay up-to-date on the latest healthcare regulations and advise senior management on changes.
8. Create and maintain accurate records of compliance activities.
9. Provide feedback and guidance on healthcare regulations to internal and external stakeholders.
10. Draft reports and presentations summarizing compliance activities.
