Manager - Nutrition & Regulatory Affairs

Provides nutrition leadership and direction through collaboration with Innovation, Brand Marketing, Consumer Insights, and Product Development to assure new products and new platforms are developed with and designed to serve a nutrition purpose. Identifies new GRAS functional ingredients as well as health and wellness trends (e.g. ketogenic diet) consistent with Innovation & Brand Marketing business plans and objectives. Keeps abreast of global nutrition developments and policies (e.g. Dietary Guidelines of Americans 2020 and 2025) in order to identify opportunities and implications to the business. Works with Product Development to create, review and optimize nutritional profiles (e.g. efficacy of fortification) of products and ingredients. Works closely with Innovation and Brand Marketing to evaluate new health and functional claims that are scientifically substantiated.
