Manager - Engineering

Promote a safety-first culture supporting safety teams, ensuring risk assessments occur, and enforcing all Safety Rules throughout the facility. Review and provide guidance to all Project Managers and Engineers for all site capital projects for long term maintenance needs. Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal regulatory requirements involving food safety and GMPs. Leads and builds the site technical team’s capabilities. Resolve unplanned downtime activities and ensure planned preventative/predictive maintenance and overhaul activities are completed to minimize unscheduled downtime and ensure high utilization of department resources, including all Tool Crib activities. Provides on-going training and development opportunities to maintenance personnel and production operators that promote reliability excellence concepts. Conducts a regular review of the performance metrics with direct reports and maintenance team. Analyzes cost data to ensure accurate budget administration and to understand the causes of any variances. Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance to engineering and operational standards. Assists in resolving customer complaints; implements corrective actions.
