Leads, trains, and develops the Accounting Department, including but not exclusive to fixed asset accounting, property and foreign tax, subsidiary management, and monitoring and reconciliation of general ledger account activity. Liaises with the Finance department, including FP&A and Operations Accounting groups, for monthly reporting and ad-hoc inquiries. Applies a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure by maintaining the general ledger chart of accounts. Safeguards assets by collaborating with the Accounting and Internal Audit departments to ensure processes are in place to establish, monitor, and enforce internal controls. Leads or participates in interdepartmental and cross-functional projects. Manages ad-hoc reporting, budget/forecasting activities, and delegation of informational requests from internal clients.
