Associate Actuary

At Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, we are looking for an experienced, motivated Associate Actuary to join our team. As Associate Actuary, you will be responsible for providing actuarial support for Blue Cross Blue Shield Association products and services. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the accuracy of our data and analyses, and to provide insight into our products.In this role, you should have a strong understanding of actuarial science and related principles, and be able to collaborate with colleagues to provide accurate results. To be successful as an Associate Actuary, you should be able to think strategically, have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to communicate effectively with others.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or equivalent• Professional designation as an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA)• Minimum of 3 years of actuarial experience• Ability to work as part of a team and independently• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and actuarial software packages• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills• Ability to interpret and analyze complex data• Strong written and verbal communication skillsIf you’re looking for a rewarding opportunity to exercise your actuarial and analytical skills, we’d love to hear from you.
