  1. Develop and implement trade compliance policies and procedures to ensure company adherence to international trade regulations.
  2. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential trade compliance issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
  3. Stay up-to-date with changes in trade regulations and communicate updates to relevant departments and stakeholders.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as legal, finance, and supply chain, to ensure trade compliance throughout the entire supply chain.
  5. Conduct training and provide guidance to employees on trade compliance requirements to promote a culture of compliance within the organization.
  6. Monitor and review trade transactions to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  7. Prepare and submit necessary documentation, such as export licenses and permits, to government agencies.
  8. Conduct investigations and respond to inquiries from government agencies related to trade compliance.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with external trade compliance resources, such as trade attorneys and consultants.
  10. Proactively identify and escalate potential trade compliance risks to management.
  11. Participate in internal and external audits related to trade compliance.
  12. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to trade transactions and compliance efforts.
  13. Collaborate with trade compliance teams in other regions to ensure a consistent approach to compliance across the company.
  14. Represent the company in trade compliance forums and industry events.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities to improve trade compliance processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Import/Export Regulations: A Trade Compliance Specialist At Bloomberg Must Have A Deep Understanding Of International Trade Laws, Regulations, And Policies. This Includes Knowledge Of Customs Regulations, Export Control Laws, And Sanctions Programs.

  • Experience In Trade Compliance: Candidates For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Trade Compliance, Preferably In A Corporate Setting. This Experience Should Include Managing Import/Export Processes, Conducting Audits, And Implementing Compliance Programs.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: A Trade Compliance Specialist At Bloomberg Must Have Strong Analytical Skills To Identify Potential Risks And Develop Effective Solutions. This Includes The Ability To Analyze Complex Trade Data And Regulations To Ensure Compliance.

  • Attention To Detail: The Role Of A Trade Compliance Specialist Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail To Accurately Interpret And Apply Trade Regulations. This Includes Ensuring All Trade Documents Are Complete And Accurate, And Monitoring Compliance With Trade Laws And Regulations.

  • Communication And Collaboration: Trade Compliance Is A Cross-Functional Role That Requires Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Internal And External Stakeholders, Including Government Agencies, And Work Collaboratively With Different Departments Within The Organization To Ensure Compliance.
