Sourcing Specialist - Software

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Software Sourcing Specialist to join our Bloomberg team. If you’re passionate about finding the best possible software solutions for our clients and have a keen eye for detail, we’d love to hear from you.The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 5 years of experience in software sourcing and procurement, and a deep understanding of the software market. We’re looking for someone who is a self-starter, results-oriented, and highly organized. The ability to think strategically and analytically is a must. Additionally, you should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities:

1. Source and procure software to meet the needs of Bloomberg clients.
2. Research and evaluate the software market to identify the best possible solutions.
3. Develop strategies to acquire the most cost-effective software solutions.
4. Manage multiple projects and deadlines while meeting budgetary constraints.
5. Analyze data to determine the most appropriate software solutions for each client.
6. Communicate effectively with software vendors and internal stakeholders.
7. Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors.
8. Provide regular progress reports and updates to the team.
9. Monitor the software market for any changes or innovations that could improve client solutions.
10. Stay up-to-date on software industry trends and best practices.
