  1. Lead the design process for Bloomberg Connects' digital products and services, from concept to launch.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and researchers to understand business objectives and user needs.
  3. Conduct user research to inform design decisions and ensure a user-centered approach.
  4. Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design ideas.
  5. Develop high-quality, innovative, and intuitive designs that align with the Bloomberg brand.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in user-centered design.
  7. Advocate for user experience and design thinking within the organization.
  8. Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers on the team.
  9. Communicate design ideas and concepts effectively to stakeholders and receive feedback.
  10. Collaborate with developers to ensure design feasibility and provide design assets and specifications.
  11. Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on user feedback.
  12. Maintain design consistency and standards across all Bloomberg Connects' digital products and services.
  13. Stay organized and manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  14. Continuously gather and analyze data to improve the user experience.
  15. Act as a brand ambassador for Bloomberg Connects, promoting the team's work and contributing to its growth and success.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Interaction Design: A Senior Interaction Designer At Bloomberg Connects Should Have A Strong Background In Interaction Design, With A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Relevant Experience. This Should Include A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Designing User-Centered Digital Experiences.

  • Proficiency In Design Tools And Technologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Proficient In A Variety Of Design Tools And Technologies, Including Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Invision, And Html/Css. Familiarity With Emerging Design Trends And Technologies Is Also Desirable.

  • Strong Leadership And Collaboration Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Design Team, This Role Will Involve Leading And Mentoring Junior Designers. Therefore, Candidates Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills And Be Able To Collaborate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • User Research And Testing Experience: A Deep Understanding Of User Research And Testing Methodologies Is Crucial For A Senior Interaction Designer At Bloomberg Connects. Candidates Should Have Experience Conducting User Research And Translating Insights Into Actionable Design Solutions.

  • Knowledge Of Finance And Business: Bloomberg Is A Leading Financial Information And Media Company, And The Bloomberg Connects Team Works Closely With Various Stakeholders Across The Organization. Therefore, A Strong Understanding Of Finance And Business Concepts Is Desirable For This Role.
