  1. Oversee the data quality process for climate data at Bloomberg, ensuring accuracy and reliability for clients.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve any issues with climate data.
  3. Develop and implement data quality standards, processes, and procedures.
  4. Monitor and analyze data quality metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  5. Maintain a deep understanding of climate data and industry trends to stay ahead of potential challenges.
  6. Train and mentor junior data management professionals on data quality best practices.
  7. Communicate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their data needs.
  8. Collaborate with data vendors and external partners to ensure data quality and consistency.
  9. Create and maintain documentation for data quality processes and procedures.
  10. Continuously assess and improve data quality processes to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  11. Stay up-to-date on regulatory and compliance standards related to climate data.
  12. Lead data quality audits and participate in company-wide data governance initiatives.

  • Extensive Experience In Data Management: A Senior Data Management Professional At Bloomberg Must Have A Proven Track Record Of Handling Large Amounts Of Data In A Complex And Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Strong Understanding Of Data Quality Principles: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Data Quality Concepts, Such As Data Profiling, Cleansing, And Standardization, To Ensure The Accuracy And Integrity Of Climate Data.

  • Proficiency In Data Analysis And Reporting: The Role Requires The Ability To Analyze And Interpret Data To Identify Trends And Patterns, As Well As Create Comprehensive Reports For Stakeholders.

  • Familiarity With Climate Data And Regulations: As Bloomberg Is A Leading Provider Of Climate Data And Analytics, The Candidate Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Climate Data And Regulations, Such As The Task Force On Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (Tcfd) And The Sustainable Development Goals (Sdgs).

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Senior Data Management Professional Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Data Scientists, Engineers, And Business Stakeholders, To Ensure The Quality And Accuracy Of Climate Data.
