- Develop and implement data quality processes and standards to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our data.
- Monitor and maintain data quality metrics to identify and address any issues or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure data quality standards are met.
- Conduct data audits and identify areas for improvement in data quality.
- Develop and maintain data quality documentation, including data quality rules, policies, and procedures.

- Act as a subject matter expert for data quality, providing guidance and support to other teams within the organization.

- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data quality tools and systems are functioning properly and make recommendations for improvements.
- Lead and participate in data quality projects, providing strategic guidance and ensuring successful execution.

- Provide support and guidance to junior data management professionals.

Extensive Experience In Data Management: A Senior Data Management Professional At Bloomberg Should Have A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Relevant Experience In Managing Large And Complex Data Sets, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry. This Includes Expertise In Data Quality, Data Governance, Data Integration And Data Architecture.
Strong Analytical Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills And Be Able To Identify Data Quality Issues, Perform Root Cause Analysis, And Develop And Implement Solutions To Improve Data Quality. This Requires A Deep Understanding Of Data Management Best Practices And An Ability To Work With Complex Data Structures.
Knowledge Of Industry Regulations: Bloomberg Operates In A Highly Regulated Industry, And The Senior Data Management Professional Must Be Well-Versed In Relevant Regulations Such As Gdpr, Mifid Ii, And Others. They Should Also Have Experience In Implementing And Maintaining Compliance With These Regulations.
Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Senior Level Position, The Candidate Should Have Experience In Leading And Managing Teams, As Well As Large-Scale Data Management Projects. They Should Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.
Technical Proficiency: In Order To Effectively Manage Data Quality, The Candidate Should Have Strong Technical Skills, Including Proficiency In Sql, Etl Tools, Data Quality Tools, And Database Management Systems. Knowledge Of Programming Languages Such As Python And R Is Also Desirable. Additionally, Experience With Bloomberg's Data Management Systems And Tools Is A Plus.
