As a Senior Control Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our core products through implementing and maintaining strong control processes.   1. Develop and implement control processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of Bloomberg's core products.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key control areas and establish best practices.
  3. Monitor and assess control processes to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  4. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.
  5. Act as a subject matter expert on control management, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  6. Train and mentor team members on control processes and procedures.
  7. Communicate control findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
  8. Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance.
  9. Identify and mitigate potential risks to Bloomberg's core products.
  10. Develop and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for control processes.
  11. Continuously monitor and evaluate control processes to identify potential areas for enhancement.
  12. Collaborate with IT teams to implement technology solutions that support control processes.
  13. Act as a liaison between different departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of control efforts.
  14. Stay accountable for the accuracy and integrity of Bloomberg's core products.
  15. Uphold Bloomberg's values and code of conduct while representing the company in a professional and ethical manner.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Financial Markets And Products: As A Senior Control Manager For Core Products At Bloomberg, A Strong Understanding Of Financial Markets And A Wide Range Of Product Knowledge Is Essential. This Includes Expertise In Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, And Other Asset Classes.

  • Proven Experience In Risk Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Mitigating Risk In A Financial Services Environment. This Includes Implementing And Monitoring Internal Controls, Identifying Potential Risks, And Developing Strategies To Minimize Them.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Senior Control Manager, You Will Be Responsible For Analyzing Complex Data And Identifying Trends And Patterns To Ensure The Integrity And Accuracy Of Bloomberg's Core Product Offerings. This Requires Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Quickly Identify And Resolve Any Potential Issues.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Abilities: This Role Requires The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Multiple Stakeholders, Including Senior Management, Clients, And Cross-Functional Teams. Strong Leadership Skills Are Also Crucial In Order To Drive And Implement Change Within The Organization.

  • Experience With Regulatory Compliance: In Today's Highly Regulated Financial Industry, It Is Essential For A Senior Control Manager To Have A Strong Understanding Of Relevant Regulations And Compliance Requirements. This Includes Experience With Regulatory Reporting, Audits, And Maintaining Compliance With Industry Standards.
