Senior Cloud Security and Vulnerability Analyst

- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on Bloomberg's cloud-based infrastructure and applications.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive vulnerability management program, including identifying and prioritizing vulnerabilities, tracking remediation efforts, and reporting on progress.
- Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to identify potential security threats and risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security controls and best practices for cloud environments.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends in cloud computing and make recommendations for improvements to Bloomberg's security posture.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating identified risks.
- Work with third-party vendors to ensure their security posture meets Bloomberg's standards.
- Communicate security risks and vulnerabilities to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Participate in incident response and remediation efforts for security incidents related to cloud environments.
- Provide training and guidance to other team members on cloud security best practices.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to cloud security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Collaborate with external auditors to provide evidence of compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on cloud security for Bloomberg's internal teams and external partners.
- Continuously evaluate and improve Bloomberg's cloud security strategy and practices.
- Mentor and coach junior team members to develop their skills in cloud security.
Extensive Knowledge Of Cloud Security Principles: A Senior Cloud Security And Vulnerability Analyst At Bloomberg Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Cloud Security Principles And Best Practices. This Includes Knowledge Of Various Cloud Platforms, Such As Aws, Azure, And Google Cloud, As Well As Familiarity With Security Tools And Technologies Used In Cloud Environments.
Strong Analytical Skills: This Role Requires A Strong Analytical Mindset To Identify And Assess Potential Vulnerabilities In Cloud Systems. The Candidate Should Be Able To Analyze Large Amounts Of Data, Identify Patterns And Trends, And Provide Actionable Insights To Enhance The Security Posture Of Bloomberg's Cloud Infrastructure.
Experience With Vulnerability Assessment And Penetration Testing: A Senior Cloud Security And Vulnerability Analyst Should Have Experience Conducting Vulnerability Assessments And Penetration Testing In Cloud Environments. This Includes Knowledge Of Common Vulnerabilities And Exploitation Techniques, As Well As The Ability To Effectively Communicate Findings And Recommendations To Stakeholders.
Understanding Of Compliance And Regulatory Requirements: Bloomberg Operates In A Highly Regulated Industry, And Its Senior Cloud Security And Vulnerability Analyst Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Compliance And Regulatory Requirements, Such As Pci-Dss, Hipaa, And Gdpr.
