Hello! Are you a highly organized individual with a passion for government relations and regulatory affairs? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you at Bloomberg as our new Office Manager. In this role, you will play an integral part in supporting our government relations and regulatory affairs team in achieving their goals. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of government processes.   1. Serve as the primary point of contact for the government relations and regulatory affairs team, managing their day-to-day administrative needs and providing support as needed.
  2. Maintain a high level of organization and efficiency in the office, ensuring all tasks and projects are completed in a timely manner.
  3. Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings, events, and travel arrangements for the team.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with government officials and other external stakeholders.
  5. Conduct research and gather information on relevant government policies, regulations, and legislation to keep the team informed.
  6. Prepare and edit documents, presentations, and reports for the team.
  7. Manage and maintain confidential and sensitive information related to government affairs.
  8. Coordinate and track expenses for the team's budget, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  9. Proactively identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
  10. Act as a liaison between the government relations and regulatory affairs team and other departments within the company.
  11. Provide support for special projects and initiatives as needed.
  12. Serve as a positive and professional representative of the company, maintaining a strong image and reputation in all interactions.
  13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including compliance with government regulations.
  14. Keep abreast of industry trends and developments in government relations and regulatory affairs.
  15. Collaborate with other office managers to ensure consistency and efficiency across departments.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Political Science, Public Policy, Or Business Administration.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Government Relations And Regulatory Affairs At A Large Corporation Or In A Government Agency.

  • Strong Understanding Of The Political Landscape And Regulatory Processes At The Local, State, And Federal Levels.

  • Demonstrated Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Government Officials, Industry Associations, And Other Key Stakeholders.

  • Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage Projects And Prioritize Tasks In A Fast-Paced Environment.
