Japan Economist

At Bloomberg, we are looking for an experienced, passionate Japan Economist to join our team. This person will be responsible for providing economic research and analysis on Japan-focused topics, including market trends, economic indicators, and policy developments.The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of Japan’s economy and a strong understanding of the global economic environment. They should be self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. The successful applicant should be comfortable with synthesizing and communicating complex information in both written and verbal form.To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related field, such as economics, finance, or international relations. You should also hold a postgraduate degree in economics, finance, or a related field.
