Are you a driven and results-oriented sales professional with a passion for the financial industry? Do you have experience selling enterprise solutions to sell-side trading firms? Bloomberg is seeking a highly skilled MARS Sales Specialist to join our Enterprise Sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth for our Multi Asset Risk System (MARS) solution within the sell-side trading market. As a Bloomberg MARS Sales Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with top industry professionals.   1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth for Bloomberg's MARS solution within the sell-side trading market.
  2. Identify and target potential clients within the sell-side trading industry, building strong relationships and understanding their specific needs.
  3. Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to stay current on industry trends and identify opportunities for selling MARS.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and marketing, to ensure a thorough understanding of MARS capabilities and effectively promote the solution to clients.
  5. Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand client pain points and effectively communicate how MARS can address their needs.
  6. Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value of MARS to potential clients.
  7. Negotiate and close deals, ensuring favorable terms for both Bloomberg and the client.
  8. Monitor and report on sales metrics and progress towards sales goals.
  9. Provide ongoing support and communication to clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  10. Represent Bloomberg at industry events and conferences to network and promote MARS to potential clients.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Financial Markets And Sell-Side Trading Solutions: The Enterprise Sales-Sell-Side Trading Solutions-Multi Asset Risk System (Mars) Sales Specialist Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Financial Markets And The Various Sell-Side Trading Solutions Available. This Includes Knowledge Of The Different Asset Classes, Trading Strategies, And Risk Management Systems.

  • Proven Track Record In Enterprise Sales: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Success In Enterprise Sales, Specifically In The Financial Services Industry. This Includes Experience In Selling Complex Solutions To Large Financial Institutions And Meeting Sales Targets.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Sales Specialist, The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Engage With Clients And Build Relationships. This Includes The Ability To Deliver Compelling Presentations, Negotiate Deals, And Handle Objections.

  • Technical Proficiency: The Role Requires A Strong Understanding Of Technology And The Ability To Explain Complex Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Clients. The Candidate Should Have Experience With Trading Systems, Risk Management Tools, And Other Financial Technology Solutions.

  • Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Mars Sales Specialist Should Be Able To Think Strategically And Identify Opportunities For Growth And Expansion Of The Product. They Should Also Have Strong Problem-Solving Skills To Address Any Challenges Or Objections That May Arise During The Sales Process.
