As a Data Quality Trainer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our data by providing training and support to our teams.   1. Develop and implement training programs to educate team members on data quality standards and best practices.
  2. Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to ensure that all team members are knowledgeable and up-to-date on data quality processes.
  3. Create training materials, presentations, and resources to support the learning and development of team members.
  4. Collaborate with data analysts and other data professionals to identify areas for improvement in data quality and develop targeted training plans.
  5. Monitor and track data quality metrics to identify training needs and measure the effectiveness of training programs.
  6. Provide one-on-one coaching and support to team members to address any data quality issues and ensure adherence to standards.
  7. Stay informed about industry best practices and new developments in data quality to continuously improve training programs.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data quality issues and ensure consistency across all data sources.
  9. Develop and maintain documentation of data quality processes and procedures for reference and training purposes.
  10. Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement to enhance data quality and efficiency.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members at all levels to promote a culture of data quality and accountability.
  12. Participate in data quality audits and provide training and support during the audit process.
  13. Provide timely and accurate reports to management on training activities, outcomes, and recommendations for improvement.
  14. Serve as a subject matter expert on data quality standards and processes, and provide guidance and support to colleagues as needed.
  15. Uphold Bloomberg's commitment to accuracy and reliability by ensuring data quality standards are consistently met and exceeded.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Data Quality Principles: A Data Quality Trainer At Bloomberg Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Data Quality Principles, Including Data Cleansing, Data Profiling, And Data Governance.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: The Ability To Analyze And Interpret Large Datasets Is A Crucial Skill For A Data Quality Trainer. This Includes Identifying Data Errors And Inconsistencies And Developing Effective Strategies To Address Them.

  • Experience With Data Quality Tools: Candidates Should Have Experience With Data Quality Tools Such As Informatica, Talend, Or Trillium. Familiarity With Bloomberg's Proprietary Data Quality Tools Is Also Preferred.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As A Trainer, The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Data Quality Concepts To Diverse Audiences Is Essential. This Includes Developing Training Materials, Conducting Workshops, And Providing One-On-One Coaching.

  • Data Management Experience: A Solid Understanding Of Data Management Practices, Including Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, And Data Integration, Is Crucial For A Data Quality Trainer At Bloomberg. This Will Enable Them To Provide Practical And Relevant Training To Employees In These Areas.
