- Develop and maintain business continuity and incident management plans to ensure the security and continuity of Bloomberg's operations.
- Monitor and assess potential threats to Bloomberg's security, and respond to incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities in Bloomberg's systems and processes.
- Collaborate with various teams, including IT, risk management, and business leaders, to implement security measures and procedures.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in business continuity and incident management to continuously improve Bloomberg's security posture.
- Conduct regular exercises and simulations to test the effectiveness of business continuity and incident management plans.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on security protocols and procedures.
- Lead incident response efforts, including coordinating with external agencies and stakeholders.
- Analyze security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation and prevention.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior management, to report on security incidents and provide updates on the status of business continuity plans.
- Stay updated on regulatory requirements and ensure Bloomberg's compliance with relevant security standards.
- Maintain documentation and records related to business continuity and incident management plans.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new security technologies and processes.
- Mentor and guide junior members of the Security Operations team.
- Foster a culture of security awareness and proactively identify potential security risks.
Knowledge Of Business Continuity And Incident Management Processes: A Strong Understanding Of Business Continuity And Incident Management Processes Is Essential For This Role. This Includes Experience In Developing And Implementing Incident Response Plans, Conducting Risk Assessments, And Identifying Critical Business Functions.
