- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to the organization's operations.
- Lead and coordinate incident response efforts in the event of a disruption or crisis, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement risk mitigation measures.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of existing risk management processes and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in business continuity and incident management to enhance the organization's risk management capabilities.
- Train and educate employees on risk management principles, incident response protocols, and business continuity plans.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including vendors and partners, to ensure a coordinated response to potential incidents.
- Conduct regular tests and drills to evaluate the readiness and effectiveness of the organization's business continuity plans.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on the organization's risk management capabilities and incident response readiness.
- Act as a subject matter expert on risk management and incident response, providing guidance and support to other departments and teams.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to risk management and incident response.
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to support business continuity and incident management efforts.
- Respond to and address any inquiries or concerns related to risk management and incident response from internal and external stakeholders.
- Continuously assess and update the organization's risk profile and develop strategies to mitigate new and emerging risks.
