Job Description

Bloomberg is seeking a dynamic and experienced Breaking News Editor to join our highly reputable news team. As the Breaking News Editor, you will play a critical role in delivering timely and accurate news to our global audience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of breaking news stories and the ability to lead a team of reporters.   1. Lead the breaking news team: As the Breaking News Editor, you will be responsible for managing a team of reporters and ensuring they deliver timely and accurate news stories to our global audience.
  2. Monitor news sources: You will be responsible for constantly monitoring news sources and staying updated on current events to identify potential breaking news stories.
  3. Make editorial decisions: Using your experience and judgement, you will make editorial decisions on which breaking news stories to pursue and how to cover them.
  4. Edit and fact-check stories: As the editor, you will be responsible for editing and fact-checking all breaking news stories before they are published to ensure accuracy and quality.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Journalism, Communication, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Breaking News Editor Role At A Reputable News Organization.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Financial Markets And Ability To Quickly Analyze And Report On Breaking News In This Industry.
