- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for the Asia-Pacific region to support Bloomberg's global operations.
- Identify and evaluate potential vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to ensure high-quality and cost-effective services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and identify sourcing opportunities.
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Analyze current vendor performance and make recommendations for improvement or changes.
- Monitor and track vendor performance metrics to ensure compliance with service level agreements.
- Manage the procurement process from sourcing to contract execution, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms to achieve cost savings and mitigate risks.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, proactively addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.
- Continuously review and improve procurement processes to drive efficiency and cost savings.
- Develop and maintain a database of vendor information, contracts, and performance data.
- Provide regular reports and updates on sourcing activities, vendor performance, and cost savings achieved.
- Collaborate with other regional sourcing managers to share best practices and drive consistency in sourcing processes.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations related to sourcing and procurement in the Asia-Pacific region.
- Train and mentor junior sourcing team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Internal And External Stakeholders.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Sourcing Or Procurement, Preferably In The Apac Region.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Supply Chain Processes, Including Sourcing Strategies, Negotiations, And Supplier Relationship Management.
Experience Working In A Fast-Paced, Global Environment And Ability To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously While Meeting Deadlines.
