Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Virtual Patient Observer to join the team at BJC HealthCare. In this role, you will be responsible for using our virtual observation technology to monitor patients in their home settings and provide real-time feedback to clinicians. The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent observational skills, a passion for patient care, and strong organizational skills. You must also have a high degree of comfort with technology. Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize virtual observation technology to monitor patients in their home settings and provide real-time feedback to clinicians.
  2. Utilize excellent observational skills to identify patient needs and provide appropriate care.
  3. Develop and implement patient care plans as needed.
  4. Ensure patient safety and comfort.
  5. Establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, family members, and healthcare professionals.
  6. Communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team.
  7. Document all patient observations and provide timely updates to clinicians.
  8. Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the field of virtual patient observation.
  9. Maintain a high degree of comfort with technology.
  10. Adhere to all regulations and safety protocols.
