  1. Provide compassionate and skilled care to critically ill patients in the Trauma Surgical ICU unit.
  2. Monitor and assess patients' conditions and respond promptly to any changes or emergencies.
  3. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
  4. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  5. Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  7. Monitor and maintain medical equipment and supplies in the unit.
  8. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  9. Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on the latest advancements in trauma and critical care nursing.
  10. Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  11. Advocate for patients' needs and rights, ensuring their comfort and well-being at all times.
  12. Maintain a professional and positive attitude while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  13. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes and overall quality of care.
  14. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of healthcare services.
  15. Continuously evaluate and reassess patient care plans to ensure they meet the patients' changing needs.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Rn License In The State Of Missouri

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Critical Care Or Surgical Icu Setting

  • Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications

  • Strong Knowledge Of Trauma And Critical Care Nursing Protocols And Procedures

  • Ability To Multitask And Work In A Fast-Paced, High-Stress Environment With A Focus On Patient Care And Outcomes
