
Transplant Coordinator, BMT & Cell Therapy Clinical
BJC HealthCare is looking for an experienced, dedicated Transplant Coordinator, BMT & Cell Therapy Clinical to join our team. We are looking for a professional with excellent interpersonal and communication skills who is able to provide superior patient care. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in transplant coordination and cell therapy clinical and be a licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri. In this position, you will be responsible for collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide quality patient care and support throughout the pre-transplant, transplant, and post-transplant process.This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected healthcare organization and make a difference in the lives of our patients. Responsibilities:
- Provide quality patient care and support throughout the pre-transplant, transplant, and post-transplant process.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain professional licensure and participate in continuing education opportunities to remain up-to-date with the latest medical advances.
- Oversee the coordination of transplant care services and monitor the patient's progress throughout the process.
- Manage patient medical records and documentation tasks.
- Provide patient education and support to assist the patient in understanding the transplant process.
- Develop and implement protocols to ensure quality and safety of transplant services.
- Coordinate with insurance companies to ensure appropriate coverage of services.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders and serve as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Participate in research activities related to transplant care.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field
Current State Licensure As A Registered Nurse
At Least Years Of Transplant/Bmt/Cell Therapy Nursing Experience
Certification In Transplant Or Bmt/Cell Therapy Nursing
Knowledge Of Medical And Nursing Standards And Practices
Knowledge Of Regulatory And Accreditation Standards
