Job Description

BJC HealthCare is looking for an experienced, dedicated Transplant Coordinator, BMT & Cell Therapy Clinical to join our team. We are looking for a professional with excellent interpersonal and communication skills who is able to provide superior patient care. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in transplant coordination and cell therapy clinical and be a licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri. In this position, you will be responsible for collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide quality patient care and support throughout the pre-transplant, transplant, and post-transplant process.This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected healthcare organization and make a difference in the lives of our patients. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide quality patient care and support throughout the pre-transplant, transplant, and post-transplant process.
  2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
  3. Maintain professional licensure and participate in continuing education opportunities to remain up-to-date with the latest medical advances.
  4. Oversee the coordination of transplant care services and monitor the patient's progress throughout the process.
  5. Manage patient medical records and documentation tasks.
  6. Provide patient education and support to assist the patient in understanding the transplant process.
  7. Develop and implement protocols to ensure quality and safety of transplant services.
  8. Coordinate with insurance companies to ensure appropriate coverage of services.
  9. Develop relationships with key stakeholders and serve as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  10. Participate in research activities related to transplant care.

Job Qualifications
