Thoracic Surgery, Student Nurse Tech - PRN

1. Assist in surgeries by preparing and maintaining surgical equipment, providing necessary tools and supplies to surgeons, and ensuring a sterile environment.
2. Monitor vital signs and observe patients before, during, and after surgery.
3. Assist with patient positioning and movement during procedures.
4. Provide direct patient care, including but not limited to administering medications, dressing wounds, and monitoring patient's condition.
5. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
6. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care activities and observations.
7. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
8. Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
9. Attend training sessions and educational opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in thoracic surgery.
10. Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality patient care and continuously seek opportunities for improvement.
11. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
