- Assist in medication preparation: The primary responsibility of a Student Pharmacy Technician is to assist in medication preparation under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. This includes accurately measuring, counting, and labeling medications as per prescriptions.
- Maintain inventory: The Student Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring that all medications are properly stocked and stored. This includes monitoring expiration dates and notifying the pharmacist of any discrepancies or shortages.
