- Create and maintain staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage at all times.
- Coordinate with nursing managers to determine staffing needs and make adjustments as necessary.
- Monitor and track employee time off requests and availability to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Collaborate with HR to onboard and train new nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate records of staffing changes and communicate updates to relevant parties.
- Identify and address potential staffing shortages or conflicts.
- Work closely with nursing staff to understand their needs and preferences for scheduling.
- Utilize staffing software and tools to effectively manage and optimize staff schedules.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices for staffing and scheduling in healthcare.
- Participate in meetings and discussions with other members of the healthcare team to discuss staffing needs and concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures regarding staffing and scheduling.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment for nursing staff through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Handle any scheduling conflicts or issues that may arise in a timely and professional manner.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the staffing coordination process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Serve as a liaison between management, nursing staff, and HR regarding staffing matters.
Current Rn License In The State Of Missouri.
Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Nursing, Preferably In A Staffing Or Scheduling Role.
Knowledge Of Healthcare Staffing Principles And Regulations.
