  1. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of BJC HealthCare's benefits offerings, including healthcare, retirement, and wellness programs.
  2. Act as a subject matter expert on all benefits-related matters, providing guidance and support to employees at all levels of the organization.
  3. Collaborate with HR leaders to design and implement innovative and competitive benefits packages that meet the needs of BJC HealthCare's diverse workforce.
  4. Conduct regular audits and evaluations of benefits plans to ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations, as well as company policies.
  5. Serve as a resource for employees, answering questions and providing assistance with benefits enrollment, changes, and claims.
  6. Monitor industry trends and best practices to make recommendations for improvements or updates to BJC HealthCare's benefits offerings.
  7. Partner with external vendors and service providers to negotiate and secure favorable rates and terms for benefits plans.
  8. Develop and deliver engaging and informative benefits presentations to employees and new hire orientations.
  9. Provide support to employees during open enrollment periods, including conducting information sessions and assisting with enrollment processes.
  10. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee benefits participation, eligibility, and costs.
  11. Act as a liaison between employees and insurance providers, resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
  12. Continuously seek ways to enhance the benefits experience for employees and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency.
  13. Keep abreast of changes in legislation and regulations related to employee benefits and proactively communicate any impacts to the organization.
  14. Maintain confidentiality of employee information and handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.
  15. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee well-being and satisfaction.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Employee Benefits Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Federal And State Laws And Regulations Related To Employee Benefits, Such As Erisa, Aca, And Hipaa.

  • Proven Experience In Designing, Implementing, And Managing Comprehensive Benefits Programs, Including Health Insurance, Retirement Plans, And Other Employee Perks.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Various Stakeholders And Provide Strategic Guidance On Benefit Offerings.
