
Speech-Language Pathologist
We at BJC HealthCare are looking for an experienced and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of language and speech disorders, as well as the latest treatment methods. To be successful in this role, you must have a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and hold a current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Missouri. You should also have strong communication abilities and a dedication to providing excellent patient-centered care. Responsibilities of a Speech-Language Pathologist:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of language and speech disorders.
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Utilize current evidence-based treatment techniques and technologies to maximize patient outcomes.
- Document progress and patient care in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop multidisciplinary treatment plans.
- Provide support and guidance to family members and caregivers.
- Maintain a professional and ethical attitude in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest advances in the field.
- Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
