3. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
4. Provide education and counseling to patients on their specialty medications, including administration instructions, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
5. Monitor patients' response to specialty medications and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
6. Maintain accurate and complete records of all medications dispensed and patient interactions.
7. Stay up-to-date on new specialty medications, treatment guidelines, and industry developments.
8. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to specialty pharmacy.
9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of pharmacy policies and procedures.
10. Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service in all interactions with patients and healthcare professionals.
11. Act as a resource and mentor to other pharmacy staff members, including technicians and interns.
