Job Description

BJC HealthCare is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Senior Learning and Development Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and development of our organization by creating and implementing innovative learning and development strategies. We are looking for a passionate individual with strong leadership abilities and extensive experience in designing and delivering effective training programs.   1. Develop and implement innovative learning and development strategies that align with BJC HealthCare's goals and objectives.
  2. Design, deliver, and facilitate training programs that effectively enhance the skills and knowledge of employees at all levels.
  3. Conduct needs assessments and analyze data to identify gaps in employee knowledge and skills, and develop targeted training solutions to address these gaps.
  4. Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure that learning and development initiatives support organizational objectives.
  5. Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and technologies to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
  6. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through various methods such as surveys, evaluations, and feedback from participants.
  7. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in learning and development, and incorporate them into BJC HealthCare's training programs.
  8. Lead and mentor a team of learning and development professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality training delivery.
  9. Develop and manage budgets for learning and development initiatives, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient use of resources.
  10. Collaborate with external vendors and subject matter experts to develop and deliver specialized training programs.
  11. Maintain accurate records and documentation of training activities and employee development.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and make recommendations for enhancing BJC HealthCare's learning and development programs.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Adult Learning Principles And Instructional Design Methodologies.

  • Extensive Experience In Designing And Delivering Effective Learning And Development Programs, With A Minimum Of 5 Years In A Similar Role.

  • Proven Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Innovative Learning Strategies To Meet The Needs Of A Diverse Workforce.

  • Excellent Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects And Deliver On Time And Within Budget.

  • Demonstrated Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With And Influence Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
