Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an Outpatient Primary Care RN.   1. Provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients in an outpatient setting.
  2. Utilize strong primary care nursing skills to assess, plan, and implement patient care.
  3. Monitor and document patients' health status and progress, and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  5. Educate patients and their families about their healthcare needs and promote self-care.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
  8. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.
  9. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in primary care nursing.
  10. Foster a positive and supportive work environment by actively contributing to team meetings and offering assistance to colleagues when needed.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure a high level of patient satisfaction.
  12. Act as a patient advocate and ensure that all patients receive respectful and compassionate care.
  13. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following infection control protocols and safety standards.
  14. Adhere to all regulatory and accreditation standards applicable to the role.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement by identifying areas for growth and actively seeking out opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current And Unrestricted Rn License In The State Of Missouri.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Outpatient Primary Care, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Bls Certification From The American Heart Association.

  • Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills, Ability To Work Independently And Collaboratively In A Fast-Paced Environment.
