- Develop and implement risk management and compliance strategies in alignment with BJC HealthCare's mission and values.
- Oversee and maintain a comprehensive risk management program, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential areas of non-compliance and develop action plans to address any issues.
- Monitor and analyze changes in laws and regulations, and communicate updates and recommendations to senior management and staff.
- Lead and direct a team of risk and compliance professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a culture of compliance across the organization.
- Collaborate with various departments, including legal, finance, and operations, to ensure that policies and procedures are in place to mitigate risk and comply with regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external regulatory agencies and industry groups to stay informed of best practices and emerging compliance trends.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all risk and compliance inquiries and investigations, and ensure timely and effective resolution.
- Develop and maintain effective reporting systems to monitor compliance and risk management efforts, including regular reporting to senior management and the board of directors.
- Foster a culture of ethical and legal compliance by promoting education and awareness programs and encouraging open communication and transparency throughout the organization.
Extensive Knowledge Of Regulatory Compliance: The Ideal Candidate For A Risk & Compliance Manager Position At Bjc Healthcare Should Have A Deep Understanding Of All Relevant Laws And Regulations Related To Healthcare, Including Hipaa, Cms, And State-Specific Guidelines.
