  1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for patients, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  2. Greet and register patients, verifying personal and insurance information and collecting necessary paperwork.
  3. Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, procedures, and tests.
  4. Communicate with patients and their families to provide information and support regarding their healthcare needs.
  5. Collaborate with healthcare providers and other staff to ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient care.
  6. Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
  7. Respond to patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  8. Continuously update and improve processes related to patient registration and record-keeping.
  9. Work closely with insurance companies to obtain necessary authorizations and verify coverage.
  10. Maintain knowledge of current healthcare regulations and procedures.
  11. Assist with data entry and record-keeping tasks as needed.
  12. Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and visitors.
  13. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow.
  14. Attend and participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
  15. Uphold the mission and values of BJC HealthCare in all interactions and tasks.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Ability To Multitask And Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Registration Or Scheduling Role.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Insurance Processes.

  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills.
