- Conduct sleep studies and analyze sleep data to accurately diagnose and monitor sleep disorders in patients.
- Perform and interpret various sleep tests, including polysomnograms, multiple sleep latency tests, and maintenance of wakefulness tests.
- Monitor patients during sleep studies and make necessary adjustments to equipment and testing procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Educate patients on sleep disorders, treatment options, and proper use of equipment.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of sleep studies and patient progress.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and protocols related to sleep studies.
- Troubleshoot and maintain sleep equipment and supplies.
- Stay current on advancements and changes in the field of sleep medicine.
- Provide excellent patient care and support, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist with research projects.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines regarding patient information.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for patients.
- Participate in on-call duties as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Attend required trainings and meetings to maintain licensure and certification.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to ensure the highest quality of care.

- Complete assigned tasks and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner.
Certification: Candidates Must Possess A Current Certification As A Registered Polysomnography Technologist (Rpsgt) From The Board Of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (Brpt).
Education: A Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In A Related Field Such As Polysomnography, Respiratory Therapy, Or Neurodiagnostics Is Required. A Bachelor's Degree Is Preferred.
Experience: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Sleep Setting, With Experience In Performing And Scoring Sleep Studies And Interpreting Results.
Technical Skills: Strong Technical Skills In Operating And Troubleshooting Polysomnography Equipment And Software Programs Are Required. Experience With Various Sleep Monitoring Devices And Computerized Data Analysis Is Also Preferred.
Communication Skills: Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Necessary For Interacting With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Candidates Should Also Possess Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail.
